MoPac Playdowns - January 12th and 13th, 2008, Seattle, WA

At the MoPac Playdowns we played Team Coleman from California. Our first game was played on Saturday at 8:00am and we won the game 10 to 3 in 8 ends. The second game was a hard fought contest, played on Saturday at 4:30pm, that went into an extra end. Unfortunately we lost 8 to 7 in 9 ends.

We then came back Sunday morning at 8:00am for the deciding third game. We were able to pull out the victory 9 to 2 in 7 ends to earn the right to go to the National Championships.

Women's National Club Championships - March 1st to the 8th, 2008, Mankato, MN

March 5th Update--

We felt that we wanted to 'blog' a bit about our adventure here in Mankato. It has been such a great experience despite some disappointments with the totals on the scoreboards. We have been welcomed into this expert group of curlers and loved the experience of 'real' ice. Having a taste of real winter weather has been somewhat of a novelty, but made us very grateful for all of your warm wishes. USAcurl.org has not been accessible the last few days but you can also follow the results along the Mankato club's website at http://www.mankatocurling.org/club_champs.php What a wonderful curling community.
